TubeRank ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by TubeRank · support@gettuberank.com · Czech Republic. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Email address — provided voluntarily when activating a Pro subscription
IP address — collected automatically to enforce free-tier daily usage limits
Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we never store card details
Topic inputs / YouTube URLs — text you enter to generate content or extract tags; not stored after processing

2. How We Use Your Information

To verify your Pro subscription status via email
To enforce the free plan daily limit via IP address (resets at midnight, not stored permanently)
To process payments through Stripe
To generate AI content via Anthropic's Claude API
To retrieve public video metadata via YouTube Data API v3 (Tag Extractor tool)

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with:

Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
Anthropic — AI content generation (Anthropic Privacy Policy)
Google — YouTube Data API for Tag Extractor (Google Privacy Policy)
Railway — cloud hosting provider

4. Data Retention

Email addresses linked to active subscriptions are retained for as long as the subscription is active and as required by applicable accounting law. IP-based usage data resets daily and is not stored permanently. Topic inputs are not retained after processing.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@gettuberank.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (Czech Republic: ÚOOÚ).

6. Cookies and Local Storage

TubeRank does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We use browser localStorage only to remember your theme preference and Pro activation status. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

7. Security

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never passes through our servers. All API keys are stored as environment variables — never in source code.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Pro subscribers will be notified by email for material changes.
